Welcome to the Benedict XVI Centre

About Us

The Benedict XVI Retreat Centre is a purpose built retreat centre for schools and parishes, agencies, religious orders, communities and movements and other groups. It was established by the Archdiocese of Sydney as a facility to support an expanded retreat program throughout the Archdiocese.

The Catholic Education Office Sydney joined the Archdiocese in the redevelopment of the Centre with a view to accommodating the retreat and activity needs of all the systemic schools within the Archdiocese of Sydney and beyond.

The Centre provides wonderful new facilities to support the pastoral goals of both the Archdiocese and the CEO, Sydney, in particular encouraging the practice of retreat as a way of augmenting existing programs of faith formation. The BXVI Centre is open to all and the facilities will have broad appeal to a wide variety of groups looking for a peaceful venue for a weekend, a few days or longer.

Free Wi-Fi available throughout the Centre

Thank you to your awesome retreat centre team for looking after all of us so well during our retreat. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed it immensely. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Beautiful chapel and surrounds, professional chefs, friendly and helpful staff. The environment and overall general atmosphere of the retreat centre is very conducive to reflection and private prayer.
